Ipod Nano: An Awesome Watch That Did Not Happen
Ever since the iPod Nano came into the tech scene sporting a squarish swag back in 2009, the idea of it being used as a watch almost came immediately after. And that idea gave birth to a lot of products and accessories — mostly straps, that turn the diminutive music player into a fancy chronograph. Apple seemed to be encouraging this creative way of using the Nano by introducing watch faces in subsequent firmware updates.  One major criticism about it being used as a watch though was its lack of bluetooth. This meant that those who were inclined to strap it on as a time piece and wanted to listen to music as well had to suffer the awkwardness of wired ear buds.
